Whistler is open year round. It became our little family tradition to go and hit the slopes every November Thanksgiving season. We are among those first groups opening ski season and we are lucky to have found this little piece of paradise in North America. Whistler hits the world stage in big mountain skiing.
We would like to share some things to do & see in & around Whistler.
- Hot Versus Cold – Whistler’s Scandinave Spa is the ultimate hot/cold experience. Located on the edge of Lost Lake Park, Scandinave is the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes…or any time really!
- Holiday Cheer – Making the mood even brighter this season are the Roving Christmas Carolers, made up of members of the Whistler Singers. They are performing at select days and time in the Village.
- Callaghan Calling – A visit to Whistler is not complete without experiencing the rugged wilderness of the Callaghan Valley. All it has to offer is 85 km of professionally groomed ski trails from easy to advanced. This place is a haven for those looking for some snow serenity on classic cross country or skate skis.
There’s many more beautiful and interesting places to explore once you hit the town. It’s guaranteed to steal your heart. And leave you wanting more!
