We just happen to love it even more in winter! It provides reliable snow for skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and hiking with the warmer weather conditions.  Endless outdoor activities, such as festivals, spas, restaurants make Whistler an ultimate place to escape and make unforgettable memories.

We love both mountains, but if pressed to choose our favorite we’d go with the Whistler.  Our first love!  It has unbelievable views and slopes tend to have a wider variety of intermediate runs directly accessed from the main upload, the Whistler Village Gondola.

Places to stay – Hotels!

There are many places to stay in all price ranges in Whistler, BC.  We have chosen Delta Hotels by Marriott!  Situated in the heart of Whistler Village, few steps away from world class skiing, shopping and dining and much more. It has modern one and two bedroom fully equipped suites with all the luxuries of home including fully equipped kitchen, free wi-fi, gas fireplace and in-suite washer and dryer. Work out at 24 hour fitness center or unwind in heated outdoor pools, jacuzzi and sauna.

 

 

Where to eat? 

Dining out at Garibaldi Lift Co. GLC! Your taste buds will give thanks.  We had onion soup, superfood salad and GLC Bacon burger.  GLC takes classic pub favorites and turns quality as well as flavor up a notch.  

Breakfast at Crêpe Montagne. 

We have discovered a popular little and cozy and crowded place – our favorite breakfast creperie located on Main Street in the Whistler Village.  Service and servers were great with wonderful French accents. Restaurant is on the smaller side and fills up quickly due to their yummy dishes. The foods were delicious and you can watch your foods prepped live while waiting in line to be seated.

We will definitely come back to this tasty spot when we back to Whistler!
